Hi there,

We can finally announce that Registrations are now officially open!

We hope that you, or some of your work colleagues, can make it to this year's Natural Phenomena 'Outdoors in Nature’ Conference.  It's guaranteed to once again be a rich experience; a time to learn, remember, upskill, make friends, enjoy quality time with others and nature and generally feel supported and enriched to be the best teacher that you can be.

Come along with an open mind and heart, bring your work colleagues to make it all the easier to share the learning and put all the great ideas into practice back at the centre! (See below for group discount)

Centre Stories  Are you interested in sharing your centre's story? – If so, come prepared to share as there'll be a slot for informal presentations on the Friday evening.

Accommodation at the conference is b.y.o. - in your comfort of your own tent!  We've had lots of enthusiastic feedback from previous years about how much staying on the site of the conference in tents has really enriched the experience of the weekend.  You'll love being part of the little camping village that's created on the grass right beside where all the action happens; workshops, shared meals and browsing stalls during the day, camp fire, music, sing songs, sharing stories and making new friends at night.  How can you resist!
For non-camping accommodation options, there's a couple of options on our website, or google Tutukaka Coast.

What others have said about the Conference

“Quite simply, the whole experience IS the education instead of the usual “just talking about education”.  Plus it's held in Paradise, and you don’t have to die first!” - Pennie Brownlee

“This is the conference I have always dreamed of, I just didn’t know I was dreaming it”  - Rusty Keeler

“Too many highlights.  The whole thing was a highlight, look out when I get home I won’t be shutting up for a while” -  Ana Shaw

“An inspiring soul fulfilling place where you can be an individual and take so much from the Earth, speakers and all the whanau at the conference.  A beautiful place to remind us of our passions for mother nature and children.  This is the start of an amazing journey that the centre can take on.”  - Hayley Beecroft

“Thank you for this amazing opportunity.  We will be coming back next year.  Can’t wait to share all this inspiring knowledge with the rest of the team.  Arohanui”

“I loved the relaxed atmosphere of this conference as opposed to some conferences with a more hurried approach.  This was a theme in discussion about children being unhurried.  So we can as adults benefit from them too!”

Location: 592 Ngunguru Rd, Whangarei.
